Slots Still Available For Some Sac County Conservation Summer Camps

Some open spots are still available for this year’s summer camps with Sac County Conservation, and those interested are reminded to register soon. Preschool and Kindergarten camps are full, but children can be placed on a waitlist in case of any cancelations. First- and second-grade students have open spots for Astro Academy, Mud Marvels, and Artful Adventures camps, three-day camps for three hours a day. Third- and fourth-grade has camps on natural disasters, navigating nature, water wonders, and mud marvels, for three days with each day having four hours’ worth of activities related to the topic. Fifth- and sixth-grade camps explore water wonders, space, navigating nature, and an overnight camp to experience tent camping, campfire cooking, and more. Seventh- and eighth-grade has two camps: a day camp for five hours to learn to start fires, shoot bows, and survive like pioneers, and an overnight camp. The remaining camps range from $30 to $45, depending on length and activities. To view dates of available camps or to register, use the link below.
