Carroll County Board Of Supervisors Meet On Monday For Public Hearing For Rezoning And More

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors Monday meeting will hold a public hearing for zoning reclassifications, approve interfund transfer for the Secondary Roads Department and more. First on the agenda is the public hearing starting at 9 a.m. for the zoning reclassification of seven properties that were previously located within the two-mile zoning agreement between Carroll County and the cities of Carroll and Glidden. The new proposed zoning for the parcels will fall under Carroll County’s zoning ordinances instead of the cities, as per the agreement that was reached earlier this year. Following the public hearing and approval of zoning reclassifications, the supervisors will hear an update from the Secondary Roads Department on drains, review and approve the Iowa DOT Five Year Program and Budget and a construction project update. Next on the agenda will be to approve payables and an interfund transfer of $1,401,720 from Rural Services Basic Fund and $142,500 from the General Fund to the Secondary Road Fund. The meeting will conclude with the recorder’s quarterly report, approve of an alcohol license for Carroll Iowa Golf LLC, manure management updates and committee reports. The Carroll County Board of Supervisors meeting convenes at 9 a.m. in the Supervisor’s meeting room at the Carroll County Courthouse as well as live streamed via the county’s YouTube channel. A link to the live stream and the meeting agenda has been included below.
