The St. Anthony Auxiliary is hosting a Paper Pie Book Sale this Thursday and Friday in the hospital atrium. Everyone is welcome to come shop from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days for the selection of stories for children of all ages. Auxiliary Large Event Coordinator Deb Quandt says these books have been around for quite some time, even though they are now under a new name.
Quandt says now is the perfect time to find that gift for the little readers in your life. She says there will be a special program for children attending both days starting at 10 a.m.
The Auxiliary supports the hospital in many ways, from running the coffee and gift shop to running the visitor’s desk and providing financial contributions to major hospital projects. Quandt says the Auxiliary is a great group of over 300 members, each playing a vital role in the organization and the hospital.
Again, the PaperPie Book Sale is this Thursday and Friday at the hospital’s atrium from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Other upcoming events sponsored by the St. Anthony Auxiliary include a euchre tournament on St. Patrick’s Day at 1730 TapHouse and the popular Five Dollar Masquerade Jewelry sale on March 27.
