A portion of a rural roadway in Carroll County south of Willey will be closed over the weekend as snow drifts are too significant to be cleared at this time. An approximate one mile stretch of 272nd Street from Phoenix Avenue to Quail Avenue is closed until road crews can adequately clear the snow before opening that portion of gravel road back up to the public. The Carroll County Roads Department is expecting the snow to be cleared and the road back in service early Monday afternoon.
