Most of Monday’s Carroll County Board of Supervisors agenda focuses on funding requests from non-government organizations (NGOs). The board convenes at 9 a.m. at the Carroll County Courthouse in the supervisors’ meeting room. They’ll open by first hearing from New Opportunities on their Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 ask, followed by the Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault (CAASA), the Breda Daycare, and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)/Foster Grandparents. Following the funding requests, County Engineer Zac Andersen will present the final plans for a joint bridge replacement project with Greene County on Apple Avenue south of Ralston. The supervisors will discuss the longstanding zoning control agreement with the City of Carroll regarding the two-mile radius around town. County and city officials have been negotiating over the last several months to resolve disputes over which body should have the final say on zoning questions in the impacted area. They will close the meeting with manure management annual updates and reports from committees. Monday’s meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel.
