Nativity Comes To Life Saturday Night In Carroll

The nativity will come to life this weekend in Carroll outside the First United Methodist Church, and participants invite all to join in the celebration. Drive-thru viewings of the nativity will be available from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14. Summer Parrott, who helped plan and organize the display, says they have a preferred route for visitors to use.

First United Methodist Church might be hosting the live nativity, but Parrott says everyone is welcome to pass through to see Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, the wise men, live animals, and the carolers.

Last year was the first time this group put on a live nativity. Parrott says it was quite popular, so they are anticipating decent crowds again.

Parrott says it takes a surprising amount of people to make a live nativity happen, and she thanks the many volunteers, actors, singers, and donors who made the display possible. Again, Carroll’s live nativity will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, outside the First United Methodist Church at 1621 N. Main St.
