CHS Foundation’s Kindness Makes Sense Campaign Kicks Off Monday

The Carroll High School (CHS) Foundation and students in the Carroll Community School District (CCSD) are back at it again this year for the 2023 Kindness Makes Cents campaign. According to Katie Kruse, a CHS Foundation member, the idea was introduced in 2021 as a way to raise funds for academic programs within the district while inspiring acts of kindness.

Kindness Makes Cents works through community sponsorship of those students’ kind acts. Friends, families, and supporters can pledge an amount for each action. Kruse says they make it a competition between the various grades from Feb. 6 through Feb. 17.

The Kindness Makes Cents campaign kicks off on Monday, and Kruse says all it takes to support the cause is to log on to CHS Foundation’s donation page, www.givebutter.com/carrollkindness.

The CHS Foundation also sells Inspire Kindness t-shirts through the Tiger Vision store, and all money raised from those sales goes back to support programs at CCSD.
