UBI Donates Over $2,200 To United Way Of Carroll County

United Bank of Iowa (UBI) recently donated more than $2,200 to the United Way of Carroll County to assist at-risk families from the region. The money was raised through the UBI’s “UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference” Cause Day effort, which was created with the goal of providing employees an opportunity to make a difference in the communities their branches serve. On the second and fourth Friday of each month, employees can donate $5 and dress casually to work by wearing their UNITED TOGETHER t-shirts. The bank matches donations up to $1,000, and the total is presented to one cause drawn from suggestions from UBI’s 35 locations. The $2,241 donated to the United Way of Carroll County is used to fund programs that help kids stay in school, provide food to individuals in need, aid people searching for jobs, and more. Since 2020, UBI has donated nearly $122,000 to 56 causes in their service area. A photo of the donation is included below.
