Today (Sunday) marks the official kick-off to the 2023 Catholic Schools Week celebration. Kuemper President John Steffes says this is always a fun and busy time for students, staff, and families in the parochial school, but it also serves as a reminder of their mission and purpose.
Kuemper started their celebration a bit early this year by hosting a Chamber Coffee on Friday morning, but things really pick up this weekend at parishes throughout the region.
Each day of the school week focuses on a different topic, from celebrating the Kuemper community to national pride. Steffes says students and staff are blessed to host Bishop of the Sioux City Diocese, R. Walker Nickless, at the school on Tuesday.
The Catholic Schools Week celebration runs through Saturday, Feb. 4. Steffes encourages stakeholders to keep an eye on Kuemper’s social media pages for fun updates and photos from the upcoming activities.
