One hundred percent of roads in the listening area are considered completely or partially snow-covered this (Thursday) morning, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation. A winter storm pushed through the region Wednesday night into Thursday morning, dumping between six and ten inches of snow. State and local crews are working to clear roads and highways as quickly as possible, but motorists should anticipate difficult driving conditions if they plan to travel. Light snow was still falling early this morning, but the precipitation is expected to taper off later in the day.
