4th District Congressman Randy Feenstra Recognized By American Energy Alliance

The American Energy Alliance (AEA) has named Iowa 4th District Congressman Randy Feenstra an “American Energy Champion.” The AEA ranks U.S. representatives based on their voting records on policies affecting the nation’s energy strategy, such as the Build Back Better Act, oil and gas industry regulation bills, and other similar legislation. Only 177 of the 435 House members, including Feenstra, received a perfect score from AEA during the 117th Congress. He says, “For the last two years, the Biden Administration has intentionally destroyed the American energy industry with its radical Green New Deal agenda, causing gas prices, utility bills, and electricity costs to soar. I am proud to be named an American Energy Champion by the American Energy Alliance for my work to promote domestic energy production and homegrown fuels like ethanol and biodiesel to make our country energy independent again. As a strong advocate for America’s energy producers, I will continue to support policies that encourage the production and development of affordable, reliable, American-made energy.” AEA also recognized district 1 Representative Ashley Hinson and District 2 Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks for their commitment to improving the nation’s energy policy. Iowa 3rd District Representative Cindy Axne scored zero percent from AEA. The American Energy Alliance Scorecard is included with this story on our website.
