Tracy Hoogestraat, age 48, of Carroll, IA, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.
A private family graveside service will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Maple River.

Tracy was born on February 12, 1974 in Columbus, OH, and she was the daughter of Steven and Linda (Julich) Hoogestraat. She grew up in Carroll and graduated from Kuemper High School and then attended Wayne State College. Tracy helped her mother with her in home daycare for many years. She enjoyed doing mosaic artwork, going to garage sales, going to movies, reading, and spending time with her family especially her three nieces.
Tracy is survived by her father Steven Hoogestraat (Joann Martin) of Carroll; brother Jeremy Hoogestraat (Tiffany) of Carroll; sister Amy Hoogestraat of Carroll; three nieces: Maci Hoogestraat and Ella and Olivia Melone; grandmother Iola Hoogestraat of Carroll; and many other extended family members.
Tracy was preceded in death by her mother Linda Hoogestraat; and grandparents: John Hoogestraat, Lorraine Hunter, and John and Marian Julich.
