Last week the Audubon High School Dance team donated almost $2,000 to Coaches vs. Cancer. Audubon High School Dance Coach Lin Spies says that the dance team has been doing multiple fundraisers to help raise money for cancer research over the past several years.
The Suits and Sneakers event happened in the wintertime when the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams played Underwood. Spies says she wants to thank everyone that helped with the fundraiser.
Another fundraiser, the dance team, did was a pink-out night. In total, the group raised $1,950 for the fight against cancer.
