The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office is reminding motorists that as harvest continues, there is increased animal activities on our roadways, particularly around protected areas. They report there was an estimated $3,000 in damage just yesterday (Tuesday) in a pickup truck/deer accident on Highway 25 at approximately 7:21 a.m., just north of Springbrook State Park. Thirty-four-year-old Kyle Maxwell of Davis Junction was southbound on Highway 25 in a 2018 Dodge 2500 when he hit the deer.
