A special, upcoming seminar will help those who are eligible for, already on or are a family member who needs assistance with Medicare services. The “Welcome to Medicare” seminar is being offered by Manning Regional Healthcare Center’s (MRHC) SHIIP counselors on Thursday, Sept. 23 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in conference room one. “We’re pleased to offer this free seminar to the community,” says MRHC Chief Financial Officer, Amy McLaughlin. “Medicare is such an important program and understanding what it offers helps assure that anyone eligible gets the health benefits they deserve.” The program will cover both Part A and Part B benefits, the prescription drug benefit (Part D), Medicare Advantage Plans and Medicare supplement insurances. Space is limited and masks will be required for attendance. Registration is requested by Tuesday, Sept. 21 and can be done by calling 712-655-2072.
