Chad Tiemeyer, has accepted an offer from the City of Carroll to become the community’s next parks and recreation director. Tiemeyer currently serves as the Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Shenandoah. He holds a BA in exercise science with an emphasis on health and wellness promotion from Central College in Pella. City officials are expected to release more information about Tiemeyer’s hire in the coming days. They anticipate his first official day in the position will be sometime this fall.
