Boys Cross Country Results for Thursday, August 26th, 2021
South Central Calhoun and East Sac at Southeast Valley
South Central Calhoun and East Sac got the 2021 Cross Country season underway as they traveled to the Southeast Valley Invitational Thursday. The Titans finished as a team in 6th place as East Sac wrapped up the meet in 8th place. Parker Engel of East Sac led all local runners with a final time of 19:49.42, good for 20th overall. Wyatt Thorpe finished outside the top 30 for the Raiders in 36th place with a time of 21:00.34. Elias Aargon was the third best runner for East Sac, finishing in the top 50 in 44th with a time of 21:27.42.
South Central Calhoun’s Tyler Lightner was the second best runner among all local runners, finishing in 25th with a final time of 20:23.35. Tristan Blair had a good performance, finishing in 31st place with a time of 20:42.19. Eli Wheelock rounded out the top three for the Titans, finishing two places behind Blair in 33rd with a final time of 20:51.63.
Both South Central Calhoun and East Sac will run next on Saturday, September 11th along with Kuemper at the Ridge View Invitational.
