CCSD Board Of Education Convenes Monday For First Meeting Of FY22

The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education has released the agenda for their first meeting of the 2021-22 fiscal year on Monday. The board will open with approval of the consent agenda and public forum. The board will then enter into a closed session under Iowa Code 21.5(1)(a) for a student-related matter. Upon returning to open session, they will hear administrative reports, which include updates to the district’s hiring manual, coach handbooks and a review of more than a dozen board policies. With Monday being the first meeting of FY22, Berlau says the board will need to approve several organizational resolutions.

Next is reports from the business office, where the board will select the FY22 tire, milk and bread bids and consider proposals for radon mitigation at Adams Elementary and HVAC improvements at the high school. Berlau reminds parents and students that the school year starts in just over five weeks.

The Monday, July 19 meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the board conference room at the Adams Elementary School. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. A link to the full agenda can be found included below.
