The Jefferson Police Department responded to a single motor vehicle accident Monday. Officers were dispatched to a private lot in the 500 block of N. Elm Street at approximately 9:23 a.m. Their initial investigation determined a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, owned by Lindy Lehman and driven by Park Lehman, both of Dana, was backing in the lot and collided with a parked 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, owned by Jeffrey Mitchel of Greenfield. Damage to the Tahoe is estimated at $2,000 and $750 to the pickup. No injuries were reported following the accident.
