Senator Ernst’s Representatives To Host Regional Office Hours In June

Representatives of U.S. Senator, Joni Ernst’s, will be hosting office hours in all 99 counties across the state, beginning as early as June 9 in our region. Senator Ernst will not be present. “No matter the issue, if you are experiencing challenges with federal services, such as those at the VA or Social Security office, my staff and I are here to assist,” Ernst says. “My staff members in offices across Iowa can help with all sorts of problems that can arise when it comes to federal agencies. So throughout the month of June, we are offering traveling office hours in every county in Iowa to make sure we are available and accessible to folks who need assistance. Please be sure to stop by when my staff is in your area and always feel free to reach out if we can help,” Ernst adds. Office hours in the seven-county listening area are on Wednesday, June 9 in Guthrie County at the public meeting room of the courthouse in Guthrie Center from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. They will be at the Audubon Public Library from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15; at the Greene County Courthouse Board of Supervisors Office in Jefferson from 11 am. to noon on Thursday, July 17 and then at the Community Building at Pomeroy City Hall for Calhoun County residents from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. that same day. On Wednesday, June 23 they will meet with Crawford County residents as Schleswig City Hall from noon to 1 p.m. and will then travel for hours at the Carroll Chamber of Commerce building from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The final regional visit will be Thursday, June 24 from noon to 1 p.m. at Lake View City Hall in the council chambers for Sac County residents.
