Lynn Elizabeth Pearcey-Kirsch, age 62 of Carroll, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at UnityPoint Health – Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Officiating will be Father Kevin Richter. Honorary Urn Bearers will be Khloe Niehaus, Lizzy Niehaus, Anthony Niehaus, and Nicolas De Silva. A visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. and continue until the time of the service.
Those in attendance are required to wear a face covering and abide by current social distancing guidelines.

Lynn was born on February 16, 1959 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Frank and Betty (Forrest) Pearcey. She grew up and graduated high school in Hamilton. Following high school, Lynn went to dental school in London, Ontario to become a dental assistant. After graduating with her degree, she returned to Hamilton to work as a dental assistant. For many years, Lynn worked at one dental office for multiple dentists, but for the last five years of her career she worked for a couple of different dental offices in Hamilton. In 2011, Lynn moved to Marshalltown before moving to Carroll a little over 7 years ago. On April 4, 2015, Lynn married Sheldon Kirsch in Carroll.
Lynn was someone who could start a conversation. She loved talking to people. Lynn was also a fan of social media, specifically Facebook. It was a way for her to keep in touch with friends and family from a distance, but also to share photos. Lynn enjoyed watching TV and listening to Andrea Bocelli sing. But most importantly, she loved her friends, her beloved cat Sammi, and her family. Especially her loving husband Sheldon, and her “little” brother Don.
Those left to cherish Lynn’s memory include her husband Sheldon of Carroll; her brother Don (Janice) Pearcey of Grimsby, Ontario; siblings-in-law Curt Kirsch (fiancée Kim Hackett) of Carroll, Russell (Cindy) Kirsch of Glidden, Brad (Carol) Kirsch of Carroll, Amy (Tony) Niehaus of Platt City, Missouri, and Amber Kirsch (fiancé Jeff Babe) of Breda; several nieces and nephews; her loving cat Sammi; and many other wonderful family members and friends in the United States, Canada, and Scotland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Jerome and Shirley Kirsch.
