It was a windy and chilly day at the M&M Golf Course on Saturday as the boys teed off just before 9:00 AM. The kids did a nice job fighting through the conditions to score some nice rounds. IKM-Manning brought home the team championship with a 345 topping Underwood by 8 strokes and Boyer Valley by 26 strokes. All four of their top golfers finished with a 90 or below as they were the only team to accomplish that.
Kyler Rasmussen of IKM-Manning had a strong first hole with a nice drive and then an outstanding chip on his 3rd shot to leave him a few inches away for the tip in. Tyler Brant of the Wolves also started strong with pars on two of his first four holes. Max Nielsen also shot well for IKM-Manning have three pars followed by a birdie on holes 5-8. Conner Richards gave the Wolves another golfer to stretch together a nice run with three start pars on 5-7.
Preston McAlister of Coon Rapids Bayard was one of the top golfers on the day and led them with an 84. He birdied hole 5 round 1 and then had a par during the back 9. Josue Ramirez gave the Crusaders a second golfer under 100 finishing with a 97. Ramirez had back to back pars on 6-7 on the back 9.
Cody Fink of Underwood was the medalist with a 75 and Rasmussen of IKM-Manning was runner-up medalist with a 78.

Audubon put together a solid day on Saturday taking 2nd place and placing three individuals in the top 10. The Wheelers top three guys shot 93 or below to make them and Panorama as they only teams to have three players shoot that low.
Aiden Alt paced Audubon and closed the round well getting pars on holes 15-17. He finished 5th overall with an 83. Joey Schramm played bogey golf on 13 holes and par on 2 holes to finish with a 92. Jay Remsburg had five pars on his way to a 93. Schramm took 9th place and Remsburg finished 10th for Audubon.
Trey Petersen of Exira-EHK was the low score with an 81 followed by Cooper Langfelt of Fremont Mills 82, Owen Lucas of Bedford 82, Wyatt Appleseth of Panorama with a 83. Alt rounded out the top 5 followed by Ethan Arp of CAM Anita, Lucas Leiferman of Panorama, Tyler Petersen of Exira-EHK, Schramm and Remsburg.
