Local Entrepreneurs Hit The Big Time With Shark Tank Episode Airing This Friday

A couple of local entrepreneurs have thrown themselves to the sharks…into the Shark Tank that is. Taylor Nees (a.k.a. Earl, the Top Brass Dignitary Chancellor) and Garret Lamp (a.k.a. Buddy a Top Brass Dignitary) will be appearing in the Friday, March 5, 7 p.m. airing of the popular ABC reality show, making a pitch for funding support of Muff Waders. Nees explains what the two have invented.

The idea came naturally as he and Lamp worked on other projects together.

The idea was born about two years ago and grew from a way to carry drinks in a “muff-like” device to the overalls. The pair have been touring in a 1990 van and producing videos, some of which have gone viral. And though not all ideas made it into the mix, there are new products at a lower price for non-wader wearers.

And this has led to the idea to bring something to the women’s side of that aisle.

Nees and Lamp traveled to Las Vegas during the height of the pandemic to tape Shark Tank, after a long haul and a lot of hard work to get their attention.

Their main pitch to the sharks is their brand, but the lawyers requested removal of some of what Nees calls the most fun aspects of their approach. However, it was an incredible experience and they can’t wait to share their adventure. He says they have worked for months developing a production line and the website is ready for orders. The pair will be hosting a watch party Friday night at the Boulders Inn and Suites in Holstein and everyone is welcome to join them for drinks and a toast to their success. A link to the entire interview with Nees can be found below. We have also included links to some of their YouTube product videos.
