A Carroll woman arrested in August on child endangerment and operating under the influence charges was sentenced last week after reaching a plea agreement with prosecutors. According to Carroll County District Court records filed Wednesday, 30-year-old Nicole Renee Sanchez was ordered to serve two days in the Carroll County jail and pay over $1,500 in fines, surcharges and court-appointed attorney fees on the OWI charge. In exchange for her guilty plea, the child endangerment charge was dismissed. Sanchez was arrested following a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of 2nd and Crawford Streets on Aug. 19. Sanchez, a juvenile occupant, and two other individuals reported minor injuries as a result of the three-vehicle accident caused by Sanchez.
