The Jefferson Police Department is investigating a break-in reported Thursday afternoon. An officer responded to the 700 block of West Harrison Street at approximately 1:26 p.m. Upon arrival, they found an exterior door and another locked door within the home had been kicked open. At the time of the report, it is unknown what, if anything, is missing from the residence. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the department at 515-386-2136.
