Officials from the Carroll Community School District (CCSD) are reminding parents and guardians in the region the filing deadline for open enrollment for the 2021-22 school year is just over a month away. Applications must be submitted to the resident and receiving districts no later than Monday, March 1. Families with students entering school for the first time as a kindergartener have until Wednesday, Sept. 1 to submit their paperwork. Parents and guardians are responsible for transporting open enrolled students; however, families who meet economic eligible requirements could qualify for a transportation stipend. Open-enrolled high school students are not eligible for varsity contests and competitions for the first 90 school days of their transfer.
