Three Regional COVID-Related Deaths Reported In Past 24 Hours

Three more coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded in regional counties since this time yesterday (Tuesday). There has been one additional death in each of Carroll, Guthrie and Sac Counties. Carroll County’s death toll rises to 33 with 2,509 positive cases-up by 12 since 6 a.m. Tuesday—2,194 recovered and a 16.4 percent positivity rate. Guthrie County has a total of 24 deaths, a 13.7 percent positivity rate, up three cases to 1,011 with 856 recovered. And Sac County has 15 deaths reported and are up 11 to 1,093 positives, 985 recovered and a 9.8 percent positivity rate. Crawford County remains at number five in the state for two-week positivity rates, at 22.2 percent with 2,262 positives, that is up nine from yesterday, 1,971 recovered and 22 deaths. Greene County maintains the lowest positivity rate in the state at 6.9 percent, they were up five cases over the past 24 hours to 674 positives, 604 recovered and seven deaths. For the rest of the region: Audubon’s positive cases rose by four to 410 with 340 recovered, eight deaths and a 13 percent positivity rate; and Calhoun County is up just one case to 1,210 with 1,141 recovered, a nine percent rate and nine deaths. There are seven long-term care facilities reporting outbreaks across four counties. In Carroll County, this includes Accura Healthcare of Carroll, Regency Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Carroll and the St. Anthony Regional Hospital nursing facility. Two facilities are reporting outbreaks in Crawford County, Eventide Lutheran Home in Denison and the Manilla Manor. And there is one each in Greene and Guthrie Counties; Regency Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Jefferson and The New Homestead Care Center in Guthrie Center.
