The 2021 Iowa General Assembly will convene at the Capitol in Des Moines next Monday, Jan. 11. Traditionally, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds would present the Condition of the State in the morning of the second day. There has been a change to the timing of her address this year as it will be moving to primetime at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12. As is also a time-honored tradition, the governor’s address will be aired live on Carroll Broadcasting Company’s KCIM stations at 1380 AM and 95.1 FM. Listeners can also hear the livestreamed event by downloading the mobile app from their app store. Following the Nov. 3 elections, legislators from across Iowa have been awaiting Gov. Reynolds’ speech as it will outline her vision for the state over the course of the next year and beyond.
