The Storm Lake Police Department is investigating a Saturday afternoon stabbing. Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Walnut Street at approximately 4:25 p.m. On arrival, they found a juvenile female suffering from a non-life-threatening stomach wound. The victim told authorities an unknown male suspect entered the residence and she was stabbed in the stomach after confronting him. The suspect then fled on foot.
