Minor injuries were reported in a Christmas Eve accident west of Dana. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to S Avenue and 170th Street at approximately 10:50 a.m. The initial investigation revealed that 44-year-old Norman Lee of Paton was southbound on S Avenue in a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica but failed to stop for the posted sign at the intersection with 170th Street. He pulled into the path of a 2005 BMW 325i, driven by 47-year-old Anthony Sims of Dana. An unidentified individual was transported to the Greene County Medical Center by private vehicle with those suspected minor injuries. Both vehicles were totaled in the accident and Lee was cited for failure to obey a stop sign. The Paton Fire Department assisted at the scene.
