With only 10 wrestlers on the roster the Wheelers haven’t been able to fill the lineup in duals this season but still have pulled out a couple wins over Griswold and Woodbine. They finished 15th at the Riverside Individual Invitational and were 8th at the Western Iowa Conference individual tournament. Cooper Nielsen has been their most consistent wrestler this season while Javyn Bladt and Carter Andreasen have been very good in limited action.
Carroll
6-5 Duals

Abraham Dirkx 11-0
Carroll has done very well this season with 2 wins at the DC-G Dual Tournament and going 3-1 in duals at the Tiger-Knight Tournament right before the break. Carroll also won at Gilbert in conference dual action. The Tigers have been really strong in the light to middle weight classes with Abraham Dirkx setting the tone. Jaxson Kuhlmann, Carter Drake and Jireh Gallegos have also been really good. The Tigers depth should improve with Cooper Ludwig joining the lineup somewhere after the break.
Coon Rapids Bayard

The Crusaders have had between 4-6 wrestlers most duals so their dual record doesn’t indicate the success they have had this season. There have been a couple duals meets where they have won all of most of the matches they had someone available in the weight class. They knocked off Sioux City West at the Ridge View Dual tournament just before the break. Aaron McAlister has been limited this season but has been really good when on the mats and Kale Pevestorf has been on a terror heading into the break.
East Sac
3-2 Duals
Garrett Quirk 11-3
Justin Rupnow 7-2
East Sac picked up wins over Woodbine and Audubon at home in mid-December along with beating Ridge View at a quad at South Central Calhoun. The Raiders were 7th at the Doug Wood Invitational. Garrett Quirk and Justin Rupnow have given them a pair of tough outs in the upper weight classes.

Cal Wanninger 12-1
Kuemper took 6th at the Joe Fitch Invitational to start the season and grabbed wins over Shenandoah and Griswold at a triangular at Treynor. Their other dual win came at the Tiger-Knight just before the break against St Edmond. The Knights have guys that are doing well throughout the lineup with Riley Parkis and Shae Parkis combining to go 27-1. Hayden Stout is also wrestling well while Cal Wanninger has given them a great year at 220.

Jayden Soard 19-2
Injuries early in the season led to a couple of the Titans dual losses but they entered the break on a roll winning 6 of their last 7 dual meets including going 4-0 at the Ridge View Duals on December 19th. The Titans took 5th at the Kingsbury Invitational and were 2nd at the Doug Wood Invitational. The lineup is stacked with guys having a lot of success including Justin Rohlfs, Ayden Toms, Brock Nattress and Kevin King at the lower classes. Zachary Trott, Jaydon Maschke have been really good in the middle weight classes and Jayden Soard has dominated at 220 and 285. The Titans have picked up wins for Blake McAlister and Jordan Khommanyvong late as both look to return from injuries on a regular basis after the break.
