Carroll County Supervisors Delve Into FY22 Budget Preparations At Monday’s Meeting

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors are getting into their Fiscal Year (FY) 22 budget preparations with several aspects of the months-long process scheduled for next week’s meeting. The agenda begins with an update from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office on quotes for a new patrol vehicle followed by proposed change orders for door openers at the Carroll County jail. At 9:30 a.m., the supervisors will hear from their agent on property and casualty insurance renewal rates. They will also begin their budget preparations by making FY22 budget assignments and reviewing provisional wages for Carroll County EMS paramedics. The board will close out the meeting with approval of plats, manure management annual updates and a class C beer permit for Al’s Corner Oil. Supervisors will also offer reports from their respective committees. The Monday, Dec. 7 meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the meeting room at the courthouse.
