Three local organizations are teaming up for a special food drive this Saturday in Carroll. Kristina Soyer, with the Carroll Lions Club says their members will be joined by those from the Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs to help area residents in need this holiday season.
She says there will be an added feature for safety and ease in 2020.
They are also highlighting some of the much-needed items for donations this year.
Soyer says they do this annually to help those in our region dealing with food insecurity and who may need a hand up during a difficult time. The holidays, she adds, always seem like a great time of year to do this kind of giving back—particularly this year.
Again, the club members will be at the Carroll Hy-Vee from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5.
