Carroll County Reports Two More COVID-Related Deaths

Carroll County has now reported two more coronavirus-related deaths, bringing the total to 24. As of 6 a.m. Thursday morning, Carroll County recorded a 16.8 percent positivity rate with 2,036 cases, up 22 in the past 24 hours, with 1,380 of those recovered. Audubon has the second-lowest positivity rate in the state at 8.1 percent with 306 positives, 217 recovered and two deaths while Calhoun County reports 20.3 percent with 1,092 positives, 610 recovered and seven deaths. Crawford is also above the 20 percent mark at 21.3 percent with 1,812 positives, 1,466 recovered and 16 deaths. Greene County has dropped to 14.7 percent with 540 positives and 262 recovered. Guthrie is at 19.4 percent with 772 positives, 479 recovered and 15 deaths while Sac County has the highest two-week positivity rate of the region, moving up to ninth in the state at 24.2 percent with 899 positives, 506 recovered and eight deaths.
