Wall Lake City Council Looks To Build On Recent Success During January Planning Session

The Wall Lake City Council is scheduled to meet for a special session at the beginning of 2021 for an extensive planning workshop. Clerk, Chris Rodman, says the council currently consists of a mix of municipal government veterans and newcomers, and a meeting like the one planned is long overdue.

Rodman has two objectives for the planning session. He says his primary focus is putting together a clear picture of the council’s vision for Wall Lake.

He adds they will review programs or ideas that met or exceeded expectations in addition to ways to improve or modify ones that underperformed. Rodman’s other priority will be to determine how he can best aid the council in making their vision a reality.

Current council members include: Albert Schwanz, Ron Lahr, Francis Riedell, Jamie Rohlf, Brody Steinkamp and Mayor, Steve Druivenga. The Wall Lake City Council meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month, so their planning session will be held on Jan. 11 or Jan. 25. They will finalize a date at their meeting in December.
