The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office is kicking off their annual fundraising campaign today (Wednesday)for the Salvation Army, but they won’t have the traditional bell ringers this year due to COVID-19. Instead, deputies have placed the distinctive red kettles at businesses in Audubon, including Medicap Pharmacy, Present Company, The Bakery on Broadway, Lori’s Flowers, Ace Hardware and El Adobe. In addition to in-person contributions, people can also donate safely and securely to the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office Salvation Army team using the link included below this story. Ninety percent of all funds raised will stay within Audubon County for residents’ benefit.
