Functional damage was reported in a two-vehicle accident Monday morning in Carroll. The Carroll Police Department responded to the 900 block of N. West Street at approximately 8:10 a.m. Twenty-eight-year-old Amanda Zimmerman of Carroll was southbound on N. West Street in a 2006 Buick Rendezvous, slowing to park alongside the road. Sixteen-year-old Logan Nepper, also of Carroll, was southbound as well and lost control of the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix he was driving due to the slick road conditions. He struck the rear of the Zimmerman vehicle.
