Three Nebraska Residents Arrested For Breaking Into Storm Lake Home And Assaulting Occupants

Three Omaha, Neb. residents were arrested after breaking into a Storm Lake residence and assaulting several occupants inside. The Storm Lake Police Department responded to the home in the 200 block of Oneida Street at approximately 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. Upon arrival, they detained the three suspects: 24-year-old Jonathan Allen Pink; 28-year-old Dmytro CJ Smith; and 23-year-old Jetorria A. White, while they tended to the injured parties. One male victim was transported to Buena Vista Regional Medical Center by Buena Vista Emergency Medical Services for treatment of serious facial injuries. Two female victims were treated on scene for minor injuries. The investigation revealed that the two men and one woman traveled to Storm Lake and confronted the household members over a child custody dispute. The trio forcefully entered the home and assaulted the occupants. All three were booked into the Buena Vista County jail and charged with first-degree burglary, a class B felony. Additional charges for Pink include assault causing serious injury, a class D felony, and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, a serious misdemeanor. He is being held on a $21,000 bond. Smith faces added charges of assault causing bodily injury and child endangerment, aggravated misdemeanors, and is held on a $19,000 bond. White’s added charges include child endangerment, assault causing bodily injury and assault while displaying a weapon, all aggravated misdemeanors, and domestic assault and interference with official acts, serious misdemeanors. She is being held without bond.
