Four of Iowa’s 69 COVID-19 Outbreaks At Long-Term Care Facilities Are In This Region

The State of Iowa is currently reporting 69 COVID-19 outbreaks at long-term care facilities, including one in Carroll County, two in Crawford County and one in Guthrie. As of 11 a.m. Friday morning, Regency Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Carroll has reported 11 positive cases with zero patients recovered as of yet. Crawford County outbreaks are at the Denison Care Center with three of 37 cases recovered and Eventide Lutheran Home which has 22 cases, of which seven are recovered. In Guthrie County, Panora Specialty Care has 10 of 14 positive coronavirus cases listed as recovered. In Iowa there have been 1,853 positive cases reported from the state’s long-term care facilities with 752 recovered and 799 deaths.
