City officials in Wall Lake announced today (Thursday) the boil order in effect for customers on the on the community’s water supply has been lifted. The order was issued earlier this week after crews located two water main breaks that required service be shut off in order to be repaired. DNR testing for bacterial contamination returned negative, so it is no longer necessary for residents to boil their water before consumption.
