Michael Pottebaum Qualifies for State and Kuemper Has 12 Runners with Personal Best on Wednesday

Cross Country State Qualifying Results Wednesday, October 21^st

Kuemper At Winterset- Class 3A

Michael Pottebaum will make his 2^nd trip in the last two seasons to the State Cross Country Meet after qualifying with an 11^th place finish on Wednesday. Pottebaum ran a 16:58 against a very strong field. Overall the Kuemper boys had seven guys compete and six of them ran personal best times. Kaleb Booth in his first season running cross country closed out the season 26^th overall while Jacob Greving finished 37^th. The Knights finished 7^th overall.

The Kuemper girls ran without their top runner in Marie Dae but had a strong performance with all six girls that ran having personal bests. Keziah Janssen led the way in 48^th place with Siena Argain right behind her at 49^th. Very similar to the boys where Patrick Hensel went 44^th, Victor Esquivel 46^th and Ryan North 47^th the girls had a group run together with Alexandria Klein 56^th, Callie Ferneding 60^th, Kaisen Stypa 62^nd and Lydia Meiners 64^th.
