Officials with the City of Wall Lake have announced the finding of a second leak and have moved up a planned water shut off to today. Beginning around 10 a.m. this (Tuesday) morning, the water supply to all residential and commercial customers will be shut off for the repairs. It is anticipated that both repairs will take the majority of the day, but officials are hoping to have service restored later in the day. They are recommending that once service is restored, boiled or bottled water is used for drinking, brushing of teeth, food preparation, ice making or any other ingestion methods. The water is safe to use for bathing, laundry and similar purposes. Wall Lake City Officials will make an announcement when the water is deemed safe for consumption. Anyone with questions is asked to call 712-664-2216.
