A Storm Lake man wanted on multiple outstanding Buena Vista County arrest warrants was taken into custody over the weekend. At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, officers with the Storm Lake Police Department located 19-year-old Reath Stephen Yak in the 1700 block of Violet Lane in Storm Lake. He was arrested and transported to the Buena Vista County jail, where he now faces charges of failure to appear, second-degree theft, thirteen counts of vehicular burglary and two counts of operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent, all class D felonies. He remains in custody on a $5,900 bond.
