Carroll At Lewis Central Invite

This was a meet the Carroll girls really wanted to win and they were able to accomplish that goal topping both Sioux City Metro who nipped them in Sioux City on Thursday and Lewis Central who edged in front of them last Saturday at Johnston. The Tigers won by 11 points over Sioux City Metro and beat Lewis Central by 12 points.

Amelia Holt dropped 3 seconds off her time in the 200 free, finishing in 2^nd place in 2:12.30. Zelda DeMoss took 9^th place in the 200 free and also cut 3 seconds off her time this season. Carroll won the 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay along with taking 1^st in the 100 Free with Jenna Currier who swam for the first time in a couple weeks. Emma Myers also won the 100 breast. Myers would finish 2^nd in the 200 IM, Amelia Holt was 2^nd in the 200 free, Jenna Currier was 2^nd in the 50 free and Melea Axman took 2^nd in the 100 fly. Bailey St Peter, Emma Myers, Jenna Currier and Melea Axman won the 200 Medley Relay while Axman, Amelia Holt, Myers and Currier won the 200 Free Relay.

Carroll gained some good momentum as they begin preparing for Regionals.
