Kuemper looked very impressive most of the night as they dominated sets one and two in a number of ways. Kenzie Schon had 8 kills in set 1 and teamed with Sophie Badding who had 5 kills as the Knights cruised to a 15 point win. Ashlyn Badding did a very nice job feeding it to Schon and Badding. Avarie Pedelty and Macy Simons helped control the set from the service line. Pedelty helped Kuemper build the lead from 6-5 to 12-5 and Simons served 7 point run making it 20-6.
Set two wasn’t much different with the Knights grabbing a 3-2 lead and then having Pedelty ran the lead from 6-4 to 12-4. Ashlyn Badding added 3 aces during a 4 point run that helped 4 point run making 20-8.
The third set was a struggle with 6 lead changes 8 ties before the Knights took the lead for good at 23-22 on a kill by Sophie Badding who also ended the match with a kill. Kenzie Schon tied the set at 19 with a kill and then Sophie Rohe had an ace to give the Knights a lead.
Kenzie Schon led the attack with 17 kills while Sophie Badding 11 kills. Julia Mikkelsen had a nice steady match and Kamryn Venner had a big 3rd set and each finished with 6 kills. Ashleyn Badding passed 38 assists and led the 3 aces. Kenya Prescott 20 digs, Venner had 12 digs, 11 digs and Ashlyn Badding 10 digs.
Kuemper improves to 20-8 overall and 7-3 in the Hawkeye 10. They host Ankeny Centennial and Sergeant Bluff Luton.

Audubon picked up their first win of the season as the two teams met for the first time this season. The Wheelers played their first match with the entire team available in over a month and 2nd match since coming back from the quarantine. The loss dropped IKM-Manning to 2-18 on the season as they prepare to face the Wheelers again on Thursday. They will make up a match that was postponed in September.
Jaci Christensen led the way with 6 kills while Mattie Nielsen, Elizabeth Zaiger and Kali Irlmeier each had 3 kills. Nielsen also led the team with 14 digs. Aleah Hermansen 12 assists.
Neveah Boland had a team high 6 kills to lead IKM-Manning, Sierra Ferry added 5 kills and Kylie Power had 4 kills. Taylor Ferneding had 9 assists and Amber Halbur had 8 assists. Boland and Bianca Cadwell each had 10 digs and Lauren Danner added 9 digs.

Coon Rapids Bayard picked up their 12th win of the season against 2 losses with a nice road win. The Crusaders won the first two sets before dropping the 3rd set and winning set 4. The Crusaders have added several matches late in the season and will travel to Red Oak on Thursday to play the Tigers and Griswold.
Alexa Culbertson led the Crusaders with 15 kills. There was good balance behind with Brynn Bass 9 kills, Cassidy Baker 8 kills, 6 assists. Cassidy Baker added 33 assists, 12 digs and 3 aces. Bass and Chole Parkis had a team high 15 digs and Gracy Johnson 9 digs. Alexa Culbertson had 6 aces and Alaya Betts added 3 aces.
