Closed Session To Discuss Current Or Pending Litigation And Quarterly Reports On Next Carroll Supervisors’ Agenda

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will hold a closed session during their next meeting on Monday, Oct. 12. At 10:15 a.m., they will close the meeting to the public per Iowa Code 21.5(1)(c) to “discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the governmental body in that litigation.” Before that, they will conduct general business, review a generator purchase proposal for the Iowa Statewide Interoperable Communications System (ISICS) project and hear quarterly reports from the Sheriff’s Office, IT, GIS and Zoning. Once the board returns to open session, they will discuss their efforts to fill a COVID-19 contact tracing position and review manure management annual updates for approval. Monday’s meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the lower-level meeting room at the Carroll County Courthouse. The meeting will also be livestreamed on the county’s YouTube channel, a link to which is included below.
