Charges have been filed against a Sac City woman after results from testing confirm a substance seized in a previous search was narcotics. The Sac City Police Department has reported that 39-year-old Brandi Lee Wirtjers has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a serious misdemeanor, and child endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor. The Sac City and Lake View Police Departments had served a narcotics search warrant at the Wirtjers’ residence in the 1000 block of Schaller Street in Sac City on March 27 of this year. The crystal white substance was found during that search and sent to the Iowa Department of Criminalistics Laboratory for testing and identification.
