Carroll Girls Swim Team Drops Times in Sweep of Fort Dodge and Spencer

Carroll and Fort Dodge At Spencer

It was another very good night for the Carroll Girls as they swept the meet in Spencer with a pair of double digit wins. The girls also had a number of impressive time drops with Zelda DeMoss dropping 11 seconds in the 500 Free, Bailey St Peter cut a half second off her time in the backstroke and Olivia Boes dropped 8 seconds in the 500 Free.

Bailey St Peter was part of the 200 Medley Relay team that took 1^st place. She teamed up with Emma Myers, Melea Axman and Amelia Holt.  Axman won the 50 Free and 100 Free while Holt took 1^st in the 100 Fly. Bailey St Peter won the 100 Back and Emma Myers added another 1^st place in the 100 Breast.         The Tigers final 1^st place went to the 200 Free Relay with St Peter, Holt, Myers and Axman.

Beth Runneberg had a solid night with a 2^nd place finish in the 200 Free. Emma Myers added to her collection of top finishes with a 2^nd place in the 200 IM. Bailey St Peter added a 2^nd place in the 50 Free as Carroll went 1-2. The 400 Free Relay with Sophia Polking, Beth Runneberg, Hailey Burns and Madison Mohr took 2^nd as well.
