Lisa A. Nepple (Christensen) 44 of Carroll died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 5, 2020 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Vail. The Celebrant will be Fr. Patrick Behm. Music will be by Irene Feilmeier. Eucharistic Minister will be Carol Lee. Casket Bearers will be Joe Nepple, John Nepple, Paul Tigges, Nick Schulte, Aaron Peterson, and Chad Onken. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery in Vail.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m., Sunday at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. There will be no public visitation on Monday at the church. Those attending the visitation and the funeral mass are required to wear a face covering and abide by COVID-19 social distancing guidelines.

Lisa was born June 10, 1976 to Robert & Sandy (Lux) Christensen. She grew up in the Vail area, graduating from Kuemper in 1994.
Lisa was a hard worker, worked numerous jobs including St. Anthony’s, Pella Corp. where she met the love of her life, Chris Nepple. She was currently employed at Hy-Vee.
Lisa & Chris were married at Holy Spirit in Carroll on Sept. 11th, 2004. They were blessed with her 3 children: Nathan, Nicole & Marissa.
Lisa enjoyed fishing, riding the gator, camping, going to Rancho & drinking Miller Lite with her friends. Her greatest joy was her children. She will be greatly missed by her family & friends.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Chris Nepple; children: Nathan, Nicole, & Marissa; her siblings: BJ Christensen (Special friend, April Miller) of Vail, Lori Sofio of Omaha, NE, & Jodi (Patrick) O’Leary of Carroll; Mother & Father-in law, Dave & Joan Nepple of Lohrville; In-laws: Tim (Steph) Nepple of Carroll, Adam (Krista) Nepple of Carroll, Dan (Shelby) Nepple of Radcliffe, & Jean (Chad) Brown of Canton, SD. Nephews: Kolin & Corbin; Nieces: Alexis, Ashley, Kendall, Tegan, Kaci, & Emilee; a special aunt and 2nd mother, Loretta Christensen of Carroll; as well as many aunts, uncles, & extended relatives.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Christensen & Sandy Elgert; her maternal grandparents, & her paternal grandparents.
