Carroll Girls Swim Team Picks Up Another Win Over Lewis Central on Thursday

Lewis Central At Carroll  

It was a good night for the Carroll Tigers as they had girls swim in different events than they normally do but it didn’t matter as the Tigers dominated Lewis Central on their way to another big win. The 200 Medley Relay started things off with a bang as they took 1^st and 3^rd place. Bailey St Peter, Emma Myers, Jenna Currier and Hailey Burns won the event. Axman then took 1^st in the 200 free to keep the momentum going. Emma Myers followed with a win in the 200 IM and Jenna Currier took 1^st in the 50 free with Hailey Burns in 3^rd.

It was more of the same when the 100 fly entered the pool. Melea Axman took 1^st place again and Amelia Holt finished 3^rd. Currier won another event in the 100 free with St Peter in 3^rd. Beth Runneberg took 3^rd in the 500 free. Carroll went 1^st and 3^rd in the 200 free relay with Holt, Burns, Myers and Axman taking 1^st place. St Peter was 2^nd in the 100 back and Myers won the 100 breast with Madison Mohr in 3^rd. The final event of the night belonged to the team of Axman, Holt, St Peter and Currier as they took 2^nd in the 400 free relay.
